Odato Marketing Group has added two team members in response to its expanding client base and ongoing growth in public relations and social media.

Julie Platt, APR joins as an account executive and will focus on project management and coordination on advertising, public relations (PR), Web and video projects, as well as providing PR leadership and support.  She holds a degree in Communications from Florida State University and an Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) from the Florida Public Relations Association. Platt currently serves as president of the Central West Coast Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association.

Megan Tommasi rejoins Odato Marketing Group after a short absence during which she expanded her knowledge and experience in monitoring brand and social media efforts. She serves as the production and social media coordinator. Her duties include posting Twitter and Facebook updates for clients. Tommasi interned at Odato Marketing after graduating in 2008 from Flagler College. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications with concentration in public relations.

“We are fortunate to be growing despite the sluggish recovery. We recently tripled our office space, and now we welcome Julie and Megan to our talented team,” says Rich Odato, president of Odato Marketing Group. “With their caliber of expertise in public relations and social media we will continue to exceed our clients’ expectations.”

The additional hires come on the heels of Odato Marketing’s recent space expansion in November of 2010. The firm added two adjacent suites and added a dedicated video-editing suite to its lease at 1721 Independence Boulevard.
