Parkinsons Center wins Florida Public Relations Association Awards

The Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) has recognized Odato Marketing Group with an Image Award for the agency’s successful campaign to launch Parkinson Place, a program of the national Parkinson Research Foundation.

The award, presented at the FPRA’s Central West Coast Chapter annual dinner on April 18, is based on research, planning, implementation and results.

The campaign included development of a new brand identity; new local and national Web sites; print, radio and digital advertising; video production; direct mail to patients and referral sources; and publicity. The campaign culminated in a standing-room-only open house and a sold-out Parkinson’s conference, as well as ongoing use of the new facility by Parkinson’s patients and their families.

This is the second results-based award Odato Marketing has won in recent months. In December, the agency and its client, NOVA Chemicals, won the American Marketing Association Pittsburgh chapter’s Marketer of the Year trophy for the Manufacturing category. Odato Marketing is also a past recipient of the FPRA’s highest award, the Grand All Image Award, for its work with Noble Tangerine Juice.
